Grouper & Chips Announces Art Supplies Drive For Naples Elementary School

Grouper & Chips (http://www.grouperandchips.net), a family owned and operated Naples’ staple is currently celebrating twenty years by helping local children thrive in the arts. They will be holding an art supplies drive for the local elementary school, Avalon Elementary School, from now until December 1st at their restaurant located at 338 9th Street North in Naples.

Naples, FL (PRWEB) - Grouper & Chips art supplies drive is inspired by the non-profit, The LilySarahGraceFund, which challenges and empowers teachers at underfunded public elementary schools across the nation to use the arts and creativity in the teaching of their core curriculum. “We are so excited to be helping the children in our community through this art supplies drive. When we heard about the LSG Fund and what they do for schools all throughout the country, we couldn’t resist helping out our local school. We would like to invite our patrons to come by and donate, and join us in giving back,” said co-owner, Pamela Pischner.

Avalon Elementary School is in need of all types of art supplies, including pencils, colored pencils, paper, notebooks, Liquitex Acrylic 4 oz. tube color set, The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver, crayons, and Elmer’s glue.

Chef Pischner and his wife, Pamela originally opened Grouper & Chips to offer the community a place to enjoy the local fish and twenty years later, the restaurant is still a favorite of the Naples’ community. The restaurant’s unique menu consists of items such as homemade grouper and chips, chicken Milanese and bouillabaisse, all creations from classically trained French chef, Francis Pischner. “All of our chefs have been with us since the beginning and were trained by Francis. This has given us the ability to be consistent with our dishes all these years, offering up delicious fast food with a French twist.”
