Xirrus Brings High Performance Wireless Network To JSerra Catholic High School

Westlake Village, CA - Xirrus, Inc., the leading provider of high-performance, long-range Wi-Fi products, announced recently that the company has deployed its Wi-Fi Arrays at the JSerra Catholic High School (JSerra), located in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. The Arrays provide Wi-Fi connectivity throughout various locations at JSerra's 40-acre campus for the school's staff, faculty and 1,000 students.

JSerra leverages the latest in technology to provide its students with the tools and skills for 21st century learning. An effective Wi-Fi network was essential to handle the capacity of the entire student body. All JSerra students are required to use a laptop and connect to the campus-wide network as part of academic enrichment activities, as well as to check student portals and utilize the school's Web mail system.

"We take pride in staying on the leading edge of technology at JSerra," said Mike Tubbs, information technology manager at JSerra Catholic High School. "We selected Xirrus for our new wireless network, because their solution provided better coverage and more bandwidth than our previous Wi-Fi network, hands down. Their architectural approach was simpler and translated to a seamless and easy rollout."

"JSerra is a tech-savvy school with a commitment to offering the latest and greatest in technology for its students, staff and faculty," said Charles Bettinelli, regional manager at Xirrus. "Their selection of Xirrus further validates that our use of multiple radios and directional antennas delivers a superior, more efficient way to deploy a Wi-Fi network."
