Nancy Larson Publishers Offers Free Science Programs For Elementary Teachers

Old Lyme, CT - Nancy Larson Publishers, Inc. announces a contest for elementary school teachers. Winners will receive a free grade-appropriate classroom kit for the new Nancy Larson Science 1–3 program. Included are teacher manuals, student materials, science tool kit, teaching posters, charts and photos and vocabulary word wall cards.

First, second, and third grade teachers are invited to submit a personal story about a challenge they face or have faced in their teaching and how they addressed that challenge. Entries will be accepted at www.nancylarsonpublishers.com under the gratitude link until October 22. Five winners will be announced on or before November 15.

The Nancy Larson Science 1–3 program was created to help teachers provide meaningful science content for elementary school children. The topics chosen reflect the interests and developmental characteristics of primary age children. The program emphasizes reading skills and incorporates teaching methods that reinforce these skills.

Bridget Krepcio, a first grade teacher said, "This science program enables children to foster a love of learning. My children are like sponges soaking up every new term and interesting fact that is taught to them!"

"I really love this science program," said Dena McRoberts, a third grade teacher at Blackburn Elementary in Texas. "The planning is easy and the students are really getting into the learning. They are mastering many new vocabulary words. Thanks for making it easy to teach!"
