Curious George Ready To Spread His Charm In New Educational Product From SmileMakers
Spartanburg - The Man with the Big Yellow Hat and his friend Curious George will be making a virtual appearance in classrooms throughout the country as a result of a new licensing agreement between Spartanburg-based SmileMakers and Universal Studios. SmileMakers has a promotional tie-in with the newly released Curious George feature-length cartoon and features Curious George in an innovative new learning aid for children called Fold Outz.
Each Fold Outz unit includes more than 100 stickers which can be repositioned on a play scene. These small, portable packages are perfect for children to use as a fun learning aid in the classroom. Students can create their own Curious George stories and learn story-telling competencies using the stickers. Because the stickers are reusable, the students can use them over and over again.
"We are delighted that SmileMakers can build a relationship with NBC/Universal and introduce a new generation of children to the delightful Curious George story. It has been a favorite of children for years and complements our ongoing licensing agreements with other properties that gives SmileMakers a preeminent position in the educational product marketplace," said Naomi DeAngelo, marketing manager for SmileMakers.
The Curious George Fold Outz, like other Fold Outz products, are available and sold in units of twelve. They can be purchased online from www.SmileMakers.com.
