Oxnard School District Selects RaaWee K12 Truancy & Dropout Prevention System To Expand Positive Culture Against Chronic Absenteeism

RaaWee K12 Solutions announces RaaWee K12 Truancy & Dropout Prevention System (TDPS) will support the Oxnard School District in Oxnard, CA as they expand their efforts towards a positive culture of attendance starting in the early grades for all students.

Oxnard School District is committed to building a systemic approach to positive attendance with timely responses to attendance issues and barriers. The goals of Oxnard School District Pupil Services are for all school sites to reduce chronic absentee rates to a rate below 8 percent. This will represent a reduction from the overall 8.04 percent end of year rate of last school year. Now, with the RaaWee K12 TDPS, student attendance and interventions are tracked more efficiently, barriers to attendance are identified more quickly, and stakeholders at every school site access more timely data to best respond to their students’ needs.
