PlayCV Partners With CompuChild To Bring STEM And Entrepreneurship-Focused After-School Enrichment Classes To Castro Valley

PlayCV is Collaborating with CompuChild to Bring Innovative Educational Enrichment Programs and Summer Camps for Elementary and Middle School Children

Dublin, CA (PRWEB) - As an educational after-school enrichment program franchise operating in the United States and Canada for more than 25 years, CompuChild has been dedicated to bringing entrepreneurship, STEM, and STEAM-focused programs to elementary and middle school children. The quality of CompuChild’s programs received another strong recognition this year as PlayCV decided to partner with CompuChild to bring more than ten STEM and STEAM-focused classes and six summer camps to elementary and middle schools in the Castro Valley Unified School District (CVUSD).

PlayCV is a non-profit organization designed to bring after-school enrichment classes, activities, and summer camps to school campuses in Castro Valley, California. The organization's mission is to bring fun and enriching after-school classes, programs, camps, and activities to TK-12 students in the community.

Commenting on its partnership with CompuChild, PlayCV highlighted, “We decided to work with CompuChild since CompuChild's fun and hands-on enrichment programs align perfectly with our mission. With rapidly changing technology and a drastically changing work environment, we believe entrepreneurial and STEM education is something that needs to be brought to students as early as possible. CompuChild's robotics and clean technology classes were quite popular with our students earlier this year. Encouraged by the warm reception within our community, we are offering six summer camps with CompuChild on topics ranging from robotics, electrical circuits, video game design, 3D printing, and entrepreneurship. As a well-established national franchise, and a STEM Certified Provider, we see CompuChild as a long-term partner, and are very excited to work with them."

Talking about the partnership with PlayCV, the President of CompuChild stated, “With revolutionizing changes in the society and work environment driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), we believe technology education is not a choice but a necessity for every child. There is quite a bit of uncertainty about the way jobs may be impacted due to the growing adoption of these technologies and children need to be prepared for the next generation of workforce. PlayCV represents and understands the growing need of all the schools and students in the Castro Valley Unified School District. Their commitment to partner with CompuChild is a matter of pride for us. CompuChild has always believed that there is no substitute for in-person education, especially for young children. In addition, with the proliferation of artificial intelligence chatbots, it is getting harder to know if responses to homework questions are being provided by students or these chatbots. Given these circumstances, we believe the significance of direct interactions between students and educators will only grow with time. CompuChild is ahead of the curve when it comes to establishing an interactive relationship between educators and learners. We maintain a very low student-teacher ratio in both our in-person and online classes, where children do all their work during the class itself. Our growing list of awards and honors and STEM Provider Certification from Cognia affirm our continued commitment to excellence.”

Beyond collaborating with organizations such as PlayCV in the Castro Valley Unified School District and DPIE in the Dublin Unified School District, CompuChild franchisees offer entrepreneurship, STEM, and STEAM-focused after-school and enrichment classes for children at elementary schools, after-school centers, preschools, community centers, birthday parties, and dedicated centers. With its unique entrepreneurship focus through technology, financial awareness, communication, and ethics, CompuChild’s franchisees are making a positive change in society while enjoying a satisfying and independent professional life.
