Voice Recognition Software

Voice Xpress Professional version 5 voice recognition software features dictation to nearly all Windows-based applications, as well as the developer's patented Natural Language Technology for the full suite of MS Office 97 and 2000 applications. With this software, users can control their desktop, create documents, send email, and surf the Web by speaking.

New features include L&H RealSpeak, which reads back text in a human sounding voice, and L&H Xpress Café, a tutorial to help users maximize their productivity with the software.

The product includes a deluxe headset microphone, which can cut down on errors caused by outside noise. In addition, the software's Talk and Go mobile dictation feature allows users to record into certain portable devices and plug right into a computer for automatic typing.

The software also enables users to "type by talking" at a rate of up to 160 words per minute; use their own commands to create, edit, and format documents; insert a paragraph of frequently used text or graphics using the Dictation Shortcuts feature; enter numbers, letters, dates and dollar amounts in their natural speech; and verbally activate links with the software's SayLink technology. The software also offers a Sample Commands View feature, which lists the top commands for the application in use, and vocabulary with over 307,000 words.
